Belair Stable Museum

Rebranding, Identity

The Belair Stable Museum project was a redesign for a public organization located in Bowie, MD. This horse stable first started in 1907 and then was turned into a museum in 1954. For that roughly 50 year period of this stable being active, they produced countless champion horses including 2 triple crown winners, which no other stable in the country has ever done.

Elite, Greatness, Purpose

WHERE GREATNESS WAS RAISED

Solving the Problem- The rebrand required an emphasis on this stables extremely unique history. By focusing the designs around their incredible legacy and culture it can make a direct difference to stand out from the crowd.

Closing Thoughts-  The logo contains two horses aimed in at each other meant to represent Galant Fox and Omaha, which were the two triple crown winners. The negative space between them creates the shape of the crown, while the gold and the black give this museum the elite status it deserves and lets people know greatness was trained here.
